Did you know…

Each Fall, Keystone Opportunity Center provides an experiential educational program for local youth that develops their sense of compassion for those experiencing poverty, hunger and homelessness?

You can help!

SleepOut

You can help create the community leaders of tomorrow!

Our youth education program–SleepOut–includes first-hand experience in what it feels like to be homeless. Youth try to build shelters for themselves and sleep out in the cold to understand housing insecurity. They eat soup-kitchen style. And they witness powerful presentations that help them comprehend the reasons for poverty, hunger and homelessness–then we show them how they can make a difference.

We launch them on their path of service by offering projects that night that will make a difference in the lives of those experiencing hunger homelessness in our neighborhood. The lessons they take from this event are profound.

We believe that education like this is essential in creating the kind of future community leaders who won’t stand for hunger and homelessness in our midst.

Please make a gift today to honor our local youth participating in SleepOut 2018 and our effort to educate youth for a better tomorrow. Your gift will go to ensuring that those facing poverty, hunger and homelessness get the support that they need all year long. Now that the weather is colder, the need is ever greater.

Know your gift will be put to its best use, helping us to help others.
