English as a Second Language Tutors

Over 600 students are assisted in Keystone Opportunity Center’s tutoring program every year. Due to an increasing volume of students, tutor volunteers are needed now more than ever. These tutors would work one-on-one or in small group instruction with students, who because of job schedules, special needs, or teacher recommendations can not be in class.

Tutors go through a twelve hour training program and then are matched with a student who needs assistance.
